Florida Snowbird Luncheon Report
Sent by:  Bob Graham on Feb 27, 2009

Greetings from Florida;;;;;Yesterday (February 26,2009), we celebrated our
annual Michigan Good Sam Snowbird luncheon.  It was held at Lakeland
Florida at the Golden Corral.  It was attended by 53 members from all over
the State of Michigan. The numbers were down a little bit from last
year.  One thing new this year was the Luncheon location and was
attended by our illustrious leader and his wife , Mother and Son,( Joe
and Cherl Halhober).  There was 11 chapters represented with Chapter 52
was once again the chapter with most in attendance with chapters 38 and
39 with next largest attendance. It should also be noted that several
members from the State Staff were in attendance.  Bill and Donna Gannon,
Phil and Barb Purdy and past State director, Dick and Bernie Cole.  A
great meal and good conservation was had by all.  It was very nice to
have the extra room.  It was voted that we return again next  year.
Several past attendees were missing from the gathering and were sorely
missed.  2 couples that traveled the furthest distance were from Lake
Okeechobee,Florida.  Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

Respectfully submitted,  Robert Graham,Chapter 52
